“You can use your sidebar to add consistently updating information to make your blog consistently have new content each time the spiders visit allowing your blog to stay fresh in the minds of the spiders.” Interesting – had not thought of this as a way to keep content changing. Your right, having dynamic content on any page will help it rank a lot higher in the search engines, and if it’s quality original content (like from a Twitter feed), that’s even better!

We all intend to update our blogs daily, or at least regularly, but life often intrudes on the best of plans. You’re right on adding sidebar feeds – they keep us covered for the SEO aspects of new content for each spider visit…
